christmas cheer, chirstmas in dallas, one small blondeGood morning y’all! I’m so excited to share more of my holiday home decor and talk holiday entertaining! The kitchen is where I spend a ton of time year round because I love to cook and entertain. You may have seen me share some recipes on my Insta stories. Btw…would you all like to see more recipes? I’ll be sharing one of my favorite winter stew recipes because I’m having a few friends over tonight for cookies and cocktails 🙂

Holiday pajamas are always required if you come to my house in the month of December. Although we are usually in yoga pants anytime we have a girls night at my house ha. Clearly, comfort is key. That’s why I couldn’t resist this moose sweater and velour pajama shorts.

My absolute favorite thing I did to decorate for the holidays was hanging these mini wreaths from the lights in my kitchen. It was super cheap and so so easy! It’s the first thing people see when walking up the stairs into my house, and it makes me smile every time I come home.

I’m the queen of going overboard when I entertain at my house… I can’t help it! I went to the store this week I came home with 3 different types of holiday cookies. Hmmm…now I’m going to be eating cookies for every meal until Christmas!

The second most important thing to decorate for the holidays is my bar cart. Duh. I’m sure you all know I’m a wino, but as a homeowner now I feel like I always have to have a stocked bar cart. That means you definitely need cute cocktail glasses, wine glasses, and a cocktail shaker.

My bar cart only fits in this small corner of my living room so it’s always a struggle to figure out how to decorate the wall. I decided to do a cute gallery wall with some easy holiday items like this metallic wreath and big ornament sign. And don’t judge me but I bought this simple gold frame then never changed out the stock photo…oops!

My dining table is always decorated even though I don’t use it much… When you live by yourself it’s not so fun to eat at the table alone :/ But, that’s why tonight I’m having a little dinner party with a few of my closest friends. At least it will get some use this year because it does look so pretty with the garland and ornaments! I think I might just have to convince my parents to make a trip down here before Christmas so I have another excuse to use the table!

I’d love to know how you all love to entertain during the holiday season! Any good recipes? Cocktails? Post them below!
