HALLOWEEN BAR CART

It’s time to get spooky! I’m not one to decorate a lot for Halloween, but I’m always one to decorate my bar cart for the occasion! Last year, I got rid of my actual bar cart and made my bookshelf into the bar area instead. Either way, you can also make both look festive for Halloween.

I love these black wine glasses and these gold wine glasses that kind of remind me of a pumpkin. Next, you always need a few small pumpkins and if you have a Trader Joe’s near you then go grab this cinnamon broom ASAP! Then I add some lights to illuminate all the liquor and I’ve also added some fake spider webs intertwined too.

Since I don’t have kids or live in a neighborhood with trick-or-treaters yet I don’t really feel the need to decorate all out. Although, every year I always go up to my best friends house to trick-or-treat around their neighborhood with the kids. Well, “Aunt B” is always in charge of bringing the cocktails. That’s why I love my spooky skull cocktail glasses (wine glass option here).

In fact, my “go-to” fall cocktail is always my apple cider old fashioned’s! It’s also super easy and if you aren’t a big whiskey drinker it gives this drink a nice sweetness to it. However, in case we need a backup there is always wine…

APPLE CIDER OLD FASHIONED

1 shot whiskey or rye
1 shot apple cider
1 drop maple syrup
3 drops bitters
1 orange slice
1 cinnamon stick

I start with the maple syrup in the bottom of the glass. Add your large ice cube next. Then pour in whisky, apple cider, and bitters. Stir slowly until mixed together. Garnish with orange slice and cinnamon stick. *I usually burn the cinnamon stick a little to give it a smoky flavor!

If you’re ever in a pinch for cheap holiday decor, I always find great stuff in the front section at Target. Like, how cute are these “trick-or-treat” lights??

Who is dressing up for Halloween?! I’m not 100% sure that I’ll go all out with a costume because I basically play dress up every day with the blog 😉 I’m usually a witch or black cat, and I’m totally okay with it. What are you going to be??

Cheer Witches!

  1. This looks incredible! The ultimate Halloween barcart! I wish we had target in the UK, everyone seems to be able to get so many amazing things there. Hopefully I can find some alternatives 🙂 Happy Halloween!
