TRAVEL TUESDAY: BEACH HOUSE OUTFITS

This weeks “Travel Tuesday” post is all about a beach weekend getaway! I went down to Santa Rosa, Florida with one of my best friends to celebrate her 30th birthday. It was the best weekend for relaxing, eating and drinking lots of rosé! We stayed in and hung around the house most of the weekend, but we did go into Rosemary Beach on Friday evening to celebrate the birthday girl.

I was SO excited to visit The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach where I wore this cute flamingo tank. We enjoyed a cocktail on the rooftop before walking around a bit, and going to dinner at Thirty A. Btw…you all must try this restaurant if you visit the area. I had the best scallops EVER.

Saturday morning we went for a walk along the beach. It was a bit chilly, but so I threw on my jean jacket over this ruffle hem romper. This thing is SO comfortable and soft! You could totally wear this romper as a swimsuit cover up to the beach, and then out for a casual dinner.

I posted this swimsuit on Instagram the first evening we were at the beach. I’m extremely self-conscious about my tummy so usually I’d never post something like this, but I’m trying to embrace the body God gave me.

Sunday morning we decide to drive down to Seaside for our last day. Since rompers are so easy to pack for the beach, I wore this blue off the shoulder romper with these hot pink tassel earrings. Aren’t they so fun?!

Like I mentioned, it was only in the low 70s while we were there so I’m happy I packed this cozy spring sweater. It was just right for the evenings on the beach watching the sunset. My favorite part about this trip was watching the sunsets. It’s such a peaceful feeling watching the sun go down, and all your worries are washed away.
