TEXAS WINE COUNTRY / FREDERICKSBURG

TEXAS WINE COUNTRY trip

So the first time I wrote this post was in 2013…wow! Most of you know I’m a huge wine lover so Texas wine country is right up my alley. This was my third trip down to Fredericksburg and probably my favorite trip so far. When you’ve been stuck inside due to a pandemic and don’t feel comfortable flying quite yet why not take a road trip?!

I had seen this adorable A-frame property featured on one of my favorite Instagram accounts so had to check it out. When I looked it up on Airbnb there were only a few days available to book so I took the opportunity and booked it! I knew some of my girlfriends would be down to go, and it wasn’t too hard to convince them.

I feel like Texas wine country is a hidden gem… Or, it was to me the first time I went down to Fredericksburg. It’s honestly so gorgeous and way easier to get to than California wine country. I figured after my third visit it was time to round up my favorite wineries and restaurants!

TIP #1: Always make appointments at the wineries.

TIP #2: A lot of restaurants aren’t open a few days during the week so be sure to make reservations or call ahead of time!
