SUMMER SHORTS + TOPS 2018

We always have a few weeks of beautiful spring weather here in Dallas, and then it hits… The summer heat! This week has been in the 90s alllll week! It’s only mid-May which means this summer is going to be pretty toasty. Cue shorts season!

I’ve already started shopping for summer shorts and cute tops like the ones I’ve listed below. Most of my shorts aren’t fitting the best so I finally had to pull the trigger and buy some new ones. I love these white shorts with the subtle fringe because the material doesn’t wrinkle if you sit down. I also snagged a cute pair of tie waist white shorts I took with me on my trip to Florida last week. And, I desperately needed a good pair of white cut off shorts to throw on anytime.

My summer top game was kinda lacking too… I tend to stick with the neutrals but when I was looking in my closet this week I realized I needed to branch out a bit. Mainly I just needed some trendier tops that are good for going out on hot summer nights.

I’m curious… What do you all wear most of the time during the crazy hot summer months? Shorts? Jeans? Dresses? I kinda go with all of the above! However, I prefer shorts most of the time over dresses because I hate that sticky inner thigh sweat haha. Anyone else?!
