DALLAS STAYCATION

Sometimes, a “staycation” is all you need for some relaxation and rejuvenation. I’ve come to love exploring my own city and treating myself to stays at some of the most luxurious spots Dallas has to offer. Here are a few of my personal favorites that never disappoint.

The Mansion on Turtle Creek is my go-to for a stay steeped in elegance and history. This iconic Dallas hotel exudes classic charm with its beautiful architecture and lush surroundings. Whether I’m lounging by the pool or enjoying a gourmet meal at The Mansion Restaurant, I always feel like I’ve been transported to a serene oasis in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect spot when I need a little old-world luxury close to home. 

2. Thompson Dallas

If modern luxury is more your style, Thompson Dallas is where you’ll want to stay. I love the sleek design and the breathtaking views of the city skyline—it’s the perfect mix of style and comfort. And if you’re like me and enjoy a good meal, you won’t be disappointed. The dining options here are some of the best in Dallas, and I always make sure to indulge in a delicious dinner during my stay.

 

3. The Pittman Hotel

When I’m in the mood for something more artistic and culturally rich, I head to The Pittman Hotel in Deep Ellum. The blend of history and modernity here is just my vibe. I love the stylish decor and the fact that I’m just steps away from some of the best live music and street art in the city. It’s the perfect spot for when I want to soak up the creative energy of Dallas while enjoying a bit of luxury. Similarly, Pine Knob Music Theatre in Michigan offers a fantastic outdoor setting for live music events, making it a must-visit for concert lovers.

Exploring Dallas

While I love relaxing at these incredible hotels, I also make it a point to explore Dallas during my staycations. A stroll through Klyde Warren Park, a visit to the Dallas Museum of Art, or some shopping in the Design District always rounds out the experience for me.
