This time last week I was on a flight to the Dominican Republic…someone take me back! Today I’m sharing my beach vacation outfits you might have seen on Instagram while I was on the trip. I traveled down for one of my good friends wedding which was absolutely gorgeous, and more fun than you could imagine. The first full day we were there they rented a catamaran for a day full of snorkeling, “coco-loco” coconut drinks, and cruising the ocean. I tried my best with the sunscreen, but still failed and got horrible tan lines. Whatever…at least I have a tan! I wore this cute tassel t-shirt, and denim shorts instead of a cover up that day. Also, these Marc Fisher espadrille wedges were in almost every picture I took because they are soooo comfortable and you better snag them now because they’ve already sold out once!!
This might be my favorite dress from the trip! How cute are the sleeves on this black off the shoulder dress?! And, if you don’t have these turquoise earrings yet then buy them now because they will be your favorite this summer.
We stayed at the most beautiful beach hotel I’ve ever been to in my life! If you saw my Insta stories then you saw the tour of our Eden Roc Cap Cana hotel room. I’ve already had several of you reach out to me about how I enjoyed my stay, and I have absolutely nothing but amazing things to say! If you are booking a trip anytime soon just an FYI…I can help book your trip! I work with Strong Travel 🙂
Told ya I got a terrible sunburn, haha. I feel like you always need sailor stripes in your bag if you’re taking a beach vacation. I love off the shoulder anything so I couldn’t resist this cute sailor stripe off the shoulder dress. It comes with a rope tie for a belt, but I couldn’t wear it bc it made the dress to short. So…order a size up if you want to use the belt.
This beach bag was perfect for carrying down to the beach or out at night. The scarf comes off so you can easily add your own, or I think it’s cute without the scarf too!
I should’ve bought one of these beach towels a long time ago! Linked a few similar ones below…
My favorite one-piece swim suits! Unfortunately, I found this one in-store at HM for $35 and couldn’t link it…
Everyone needs a great beach cover up, and I love a good white cover up. Can you believe this was the backyard in our villa at the hotel…yeah I want this to be my permanent backyard. #Goals
Target is usually my “go-to” for bikinis, and they didn’t disappoint this year! However, I’m kinda into the one-piece swimsuits too. You just have to find the right one to fit your body type. That’s why I bought this black one-piece because it drew attention to my top half instead of my stomach (which I’m super self conscious about…).
If you’re planning a beach trip anytime soon I hope this gave you some outfit inspiration! If not, well…summer will be here before you know it!
