COPPER DRESS FOR WORK

Hello Monday! I’m in a fabulous mood because it finally feels like freaking fall here (praise Jesus!). It also makes me very excited to share today’s “Muse Monday” post. I started this “Muse Monday” series on Instagram stories earlier this year when I re-launched my digital marketing company, Muse Media. I named my company “muse” because I wanted to be a “muse” for my clients by helping them discover their creative branding. Also, I want to be a “muse” through the blog by sharing inspirational outfits like this “workwear” post featuring 3 ways to wear a copper dress for fall. Hopefully by reading the blog it’ll inspire you to re-create the outfit 🙂 Lastly, I can’t take all the credit for my outfit ideas. I have many “muses” in my life and look to other fashion bloggers for inspiration all the time.

Actually, the first time I saw this copper shirt dress was from my friend Ally who you all might know because she travels with me a ton. So, she is my first “muse” of the day! Each month I’m going to try and highlight 4 of my “muses” so this month it is: Allyson in Wonderland, Boy Mom in Jeans, The H is For, and West of Felicity.

ALLYSON IN WONDERLAND

Ally was one of my first blogger friends and we connected because she lives in Oklahoma! I’ve always admired her wardrobe because she looks like she walked straight off the runway sometimes. She is sooooo chic which makes me want to get out of my yoga pants and look like the blogger boss babe that I am. Lastly, she makes me want to try some trends that I’d never think about trying. Like this dress! And…she is the sweetest person ever!!

BOY MOM IN JEANS

Okay, I want to be Jennifer when I am a mom. She is a freaking bad ass. First of all, her style is soooo unique and totally matches her personality. She’s fun and edgy, and definitely one of those “cool” girls I want as my friend. Like, if my kid got hurt on the playground by another kid I’d just have Jen step in and handle the other mom. Also, this mom is in ah-mazing shape!! Once again, I hope I look half as good as she does when I’m a mom. She also has that sexy/pouty face that I just CANNOT do, haha.

THE H IS FOR

I don’t remember how I met Chandler, but I’m so thankful I did meet her through blogging. She inspires me most by being a woman of God. Her faith is always first, and she isn’t afraid to talk about it. I bought her devotional “A Proverb a Day” to challenge and inspire myself to be in the word everyday for a month. Didn’t happen…but I’ll try again.

We ran into each other a few months back when we were both in a place where we didn’t know what we saw for the future of our blogs. It was so refreshing to chat with her about “work problems” since most people in my life wouldn’t understand. She told me she was re-launching her website/blog to focus on the things that really meant something to her. It was exactly what I needed to hear because I have been working on that ALL YEAR.

Lastly, she goes to VIVE for personal training like me! We don’t workout together, but I always see her posts and it motivates me to get my butt in there and work for it. She also has 2 kids so if she can get her butt to the gym I have NO EXCUSE, ha.

WEST OF FELICITY

Another Allison this month! I haven’t met Allison (yet), but I was supposed to go on a trip with her a few years ago which is how I started following her. She is a “muse” because I basically want to be her. First off, she is like a real life Serena from Gossip Girl (but much nicer). She has 100% inspired some of my outfits because her style is so classic and stunning. And, she is the cutest pregnant person I’ve ever seen.

All of these ladies are absolutely incredible and if you aren’t following them I encourage you to do so 🙂 Also, I encourage you to find a “muse” each month to help you grow and explore things you may never try. Let’s build each other up because we are all a “boss babe” at heart!!
