YELLOW FLORAL MAXI DRESS

If there is one essential item that needs to be in your closet for summer it’s the maxi dress. Specifically, this yellow floral maxi dress which comes in four different prints and is under $50! I know it looks a little orange in these pictures, but that’s just because we took these pictures at sunset. This floral maxi dress is so lightweight and airy, plus the slit in the back will keep you feeling cool on those crazy hot summer days. Seriously, when you live in Texas on a 100 degree day you don’t want anything sticking to your body… I also love the yellow and turquoise color combination. Since I finally have a tan the yellow looks much better on my skin, haha.

Normally, I would prefer wearing heels with a maxi dress like this one, but if you’re wearing it to a casual summer BBQ or something then I’d stick to flats like these old Tory Burch sandals. (P.S. I’m 5′ 4″!) My new Sole Society crossbody also keeps this entire look a bit more casual and beachy! If you need a good summer white crossbody I definitely recommend this one. You might actually see me wearing this yellow floral maxi dress again this weekend to my friends rehearsal dinner. It’s a good summer wedding guest dress idea!
