SUMMER TO FALL WORK OUTFITS

It’s HOT. It is STICKY. It’s summer. Personally, when it’s this gross outside it’s hard to think about putting together a cute outfit or even shopping. BUT… It’s actually the BEST time to shop! There are sooooo many end-of-summer sales happening right now. Especially at Ann Taylor!

It’s the perfect time to get some good work items that you can transition from summer into fall. Like these green ankle pants with this off-white top. This entire outfit is super cozy and I’d totally wear it out to cocktails after work. (P.S. This might be too personal, but since these pants are dark you don’t have to worry about inner thigh sweat! Haha!)

SHOP THE OUTFIT

So when things actually start to cool off, you could easily throw a cardigan on over this outfit and add some cute leopard pumps. Instant fall vibes! Am I right? Honestly, you could even get away with wearing these suede ankle strap sandals long into fall. I think they’d be so cute with a simple black dress or with jeans and a blazer.

The little black dress… One item you can buy year round. I love this sleeveless tie-wast dress because it’s casual, but with heels totally work appropriate. It’s a great dress to throw on right now with sneakers and run a few errands in the 100-degree temps. Or super cute to wear for an ice cream date. Just be sure to eat your ice cream super fast so you don’t drip on the dress!

Once again, this outfit can easily transition into fall with a trendy blazer and booties. If I had a legit office to go into I’d totally wear this outfit. Definitely “one small blonde” vibes… Simple, Sophisticated, and Chic!
