I’ve been in Miami for the past week on family vacation, and over the weekend I got to stay at the most adorable boutique hotel in South Beach, Circa39 Miami Beach! This place is the cutest “home away from home”. I’ve always stayed at larger hotels when going to the beach, but now that I’m getting a little older I prefer a more quiet and quaint hotel like Circa39. When I walked in I immediately fell in love with the decor, and felt like it would have been exactly like I would have decorated it if I owned my own beach house. Keep reading to get details about the incredible Wunder Bar cocktails and Wunder Garden. Plus, shop my outfits from the weekend below!
One of my favorite things about Circa39 Miami Beach was the Wunder Garden area. It’s this quiet courtyard which I had to pass through to walk to my room every evening. Almost feels like you’re in the jungle or something because it’s so peaceful. It’s really the perfect spot to hang out after a long day at the beach, or take a little nap in the comfy swings. You might have seen my Instagram post earlier this week in one of the swings!
The Wunder Garden is also a great spot for evening cocktails. My family and I sat around one evening before dinner and had the best old fashion I’ve seriously ever tasted. That’s a big statement… Actually… All of the Wunder Bar cocktails we had at the hotel were hands down the best drinks we had all week, and maybe some of the best cocktails in all of Miami. I’m not the biggest sangria fan (even though I love red wine…), but the Smashed Sangria uses frozen grapes as the ice and isn’t super sweet which made it quite tasty. My favorite (besides the old fashion) was the Agave Garden. It’s almost like a jalapeño margarita, but wayyyyy better.
Overall, I can’t say enough about my stay at Circa39 Miami Beach! Really if you don’t have plans for Memorial Day weekend think about taking a trip here…
