Happy Friday! During one of my brand meetings at NYFW I was asked, “What is fashion week to me?”. Since this was my fourth NYFW, I had made the decision to keep things realistic with my outfits except for the RewardStyle party. Although, this amazing bell sleeve lace blouse is affordable and realistically I’d wear this top again. So as I was thinking about my outfit for that night, I realized NYFW is like playing dress up in my moms closet when I was a little girl. Seriously! You get to wear things you may never wear in real life, and you can go all out! Don’t we all remember those days? I know that little girl still lives inside me which is why NYFW is so fun.
Like I said, I wore this outfit to the RSxNYFW party and this navy lace top was a hit. My braid was an even a bigger hit, and I can’t tell you how many people complimented me on it. I’m going to have to learn how to dutch braid my own hair so I can do this at home. My favorite thing about this entire outfit is the shoes. I found these Oscar de la Renta beauties on major SALE, and I can’t wait to wear them again. Maybe next month for my 30th birthday!
