I was recently invited to a beauty event featuring Jane Iredale cosmetics, and a personal appearance by Jane herself. For those of you unfamiliar with Jane Iredale she is the pioneer of skincare makeup. She has worked with several celebrities and actresses like the incredible Meryl Streep! During the event I learned how damaging some of the current makeup I wear can be. Jane’s mineral-based cosmetic line is natural and can be worn on any part of the face. The makeup artist doing my makeover used the Moonglow bronzer not only to give my cheeks a bronzed glow, but to also highlight my eyes. It can even be used on your lips! You definitely can’t do that with a lot of other makeup lines out there…
I don’t wear a ton of makeup to begin with, but Moonglow is perfect to wear during the hot summer days giving your skin a natural-looking radiance. Another great product for summer (or right now!) is the Dream Tint tinted moisturizer. It’s super lightweight and has your SPF in it so you can wear it alone or under your powder. I wore it over the weekend while I was wine tasting and by the end of the day I didn’t feel greasy plus my skin looked perfectly even. This needs to be your next CC cream!
