Who doesn’t love a good girls night in?! I personally prefer girls night in these days because that means I get to stay in comfy clothes (aka yoga pants). I’ll take any excuse these days so I don’t have to change out of workout clothes. That’s why I loved our recent “Girls Night In” at Academy Sports & Outdoors. Shopping + cute new workout clothes + cupcakes = YES! That was all I needed too in order to convince these ladies that they wanted to come to my store preview event 🙂
Their new store opened not too far from me and is huge! Maybe it just seemed bigger since the last time I was probably at a store was when I was in middle school with my dad. We always always always went to Academy for whatever reason my dad could come up with at the time. When I was little I didn’t think it was that fun because he and my brother just wanted to look at camping and guy stuff. However, now that I’ve really gotten into working out I love shopping for cute new workout clothes. I may own more leggings than jeans now…
You should have seen everyones faces when they arrived to find these cute Adidas bags filled with workout gear. I’m all about the burgundy workout stuff right now so I loved my bag with the burgundy strap.
And… Any goodie bag with a cupcake wins.

I had no idea! It’s called BCG. These moto leggings and black crisscross shirt are both their brand. BTW…this shirt is the softest thing ever. I wore both items 2-3 times last week, ha.
Obviously they carry your popular brands too like Nike and Adidas. I have to say I’m kind of a fan of the throwback tees this year. This oversized boxy Adidas t-shirt is great for my strength training workouts. And, can you ever go wrong with a good pair of Nike running shoes? Academy honestly has the best selection of running shoes! I found like 4 other pairs while we were checking out the new store.
