Fall is my absolute favorite season. Mainly because of the clothes…like this Marks & Spencer floral blouse. But, also because it’s a time of year where I try to cherish many of the things I love. My friends, the beautiful weather, pumpkin spice everything, decorating my house for the holidays, and so much more. There is one thing I’ve actually been trying to focus on lately, and it’s making the most of the moment you’re in. I find myself thinking about the future a LOT…if you read my Enneagram Test post you’ll know why. So, my goal this season is to enjoy the moment and focus on what really matters.

That’s because there are just some things where quality matters way more than price. Anytime I’m shopping somewhere new I do my research. What is their customer service like? Price point? Quality of material? And so on… That’s why I really love shopping with Marks & Spencer. They’ve been around for quite some time and they know what they are doing.

You all know I don’t have the typical 9-to-5 desk job so I don’t have to dress the part. However, I have a lot of friends who do have to be a bit more conservative when they dress for work. That doesn’t mean you can’t be trendy and look cute. Just take a look at the Marks & Spencer history of women’s workwear! I absolutely love the old pictures!

So, today I’ve created a “work to weekend” look featuring this pretty floral blouse that can easily transition from the office to happy hour! At work, you can easily wear it with a pair of simple black pants, but the print and these burgundy suede pumps make this outfit work chic. The print on the blouse isn’t overwhelming so it won’t be distracting at work. Also, forget your typical black pumps and elevate your style with these sophisticated burgundy heels.

If you’re like me, you already know you’re going to happy hour after work (especially on Friday) and after a day in “work clothes,” there is nothing I want more than to be comfortable. That’s where a few simple changes can take this outfit go from “work to weekend” in 5 min! Simply throw your favorite jeans in your work bag along with a pair of comfortable shoes. My preference for fall is obviously a cute pair of booties. Lastly, if it’s chilly this pretty waterfall coat can be thrown over both outfits!

It’s as simple as that…a “work to weekend” outfit that is simple, sophisticated, and chic. My life motto.

  1. What great outfits! I love how you designed each outfit with one top for a different, versatile look. Definitely great for us gals at the office. I’m ready to take out my Fall wardrobe but it’s hard when it’s still 90 degrees here, haha! Hopefully soon.
