I’m trying extremely hard this month to wear more of what I have in my closet. One of my goals this year is to be smarter with spending, which means as much as I really “want” those new shoes I know I don’t really “need” them. I’ll admit I have done some shopping this month (thanks to those Christmas gift cards!), but I’ve found some great deals like this plaid scarf and grey cashmere sweater. My collection of scarves is getting a little out of control, but with this neutral plaid scarf being on major SALE right now adding one more scarf to my collection won’t hurt. 😉

There are tons of winter sales going on right now which is how I scored this amazing cashmere sweater. I’ve been wanting a cashmere sweater for some time now, but wasn’t willing to spend an entire months clothing budget on one item. Even though this sweater was still a little expensive (again thank goodness for those gift cards) it was totally worth it. It’s simple, and more importantly comfortable which I know I’ll wear all the time. It’s perfect to pair with white jeans and my new neutral plaid scarf for a cute winter neutral look!
