Today’s “Travel Tuesday” post is coming to you from my recent trip to Austin for SXSW! The past two years I’ve gone down to the music festival with Frye Boots, and this year I brought along two of my blogger babes: Gal About Town and A Lo Profile. If you follow me on Instagram you most likely saw a lot of the weekend festivities on my Insta Stories, but I wanted to give you a full recap of what I wore and where we went! My favorite outfit of the weekend was hands down this blush suede dress!!

We didn’t have much time to spare once we arrived in Austin. We drove straight to Rainey Street to grab a quick bite, and head to the Frye Boots “FRYDAYS” event where I wore this amazing floral tunic. These yellow tassel earrings were the perfect accessory to pull together this entire look. Also, I wore my Frye booties the entire day and my feet never hurt!

Friday evening we went to Hotel Saint Cecilia for a beautiful dinner with Instyler because I took over their Instagram account for the weekend. I think this was the highlight of my weekend because I’ve been dying to visit this hotel, and have had it pinned on Pinterest for years! We had two major celebrity sightings while we were there too… As we were walking back from the pool we saw Rachel Ray (I was too nervous to get a pic), and then a few other people at dinner saw Jake Gyllenhaal sneak out the front door.

We decided to sleep in Saturday since we didn’t have much going on that day. We got up and went to grab brunch on South Congress because you have to go down there when you visit Austin. I’m sure you’ve heard of the famous “I Love You” sign at Jo’s Coffee… We ate brunch at Perla’s which is one of my favorite spots on South Congress. I wasn’t hungover, but I definitely indulged and had the best lemon lavender donut! Since I knew I would be eating a lot I decided to wear this floral romper with my jean jacket to be uber comfortable. 🙂

After brunch we walked around for a bit before going to grab a drink at South Congress Hotel. There are some really cute markets set up along South Congress with all kinds of fun shopping. I found the cutest dainty necklace which you may have seen on my Instagram stories. I’ll try to take a picture of it soon because I’m obsessed!

I loved traveling with Lynlee and Lauren because our entire weekend was planned out around where we were eating…my kind of girls! Saturday night we kept things chill and had drinks at Olamaie then went to dinner at Eberly because we wanted to get up Sunday and make the most of our last day. We had to stop at the famous Irene’s for breakfast and fuel up for our road trip back home. If you love avocado toast you’ve gotta go here!

We had decided Friday that on our way back to Dallas we would stop at Magnolia Market at the Silo’s in Waco. However…we should’ve looked at their hours because it was closed on Sunday!! So bummed…but we still made the stop to see it where I wore this cute floral off the shoulder top (I had to changed in the car into shorts bc I wanted to be more comfortable for the car ride home!). Even though we couldn’t get a cupcake I was still happy we stopped. I’ll have to plan another trip down there soon, and maybe Chip and Joanna will be there next time!
