SUMMER ESPADRILLES

Well we had a solid month of spring weather here in Dallas, but the summer heat has officially arrived! Thank goodness I’m traveling a ton this summer to escape the heat. But, since I will be traveling a lot that means I’ll be walking a LOT. Which also means I need some comfortable (and cute) shoes. The most comfortable shoes for the hotter months…espadrilles! Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever found a pair of espadrilles that aren’t comfortable.

I’ve had these ankle wrap espadrilles for 2 years! They are my absolute favorite summer sandal and I was ecstatic when Nordstrom brought them back this year. I can stand around in these shoes for hours and my feet literally never hurt. Plus, they are so adorable for any summer trips because of the raffia detail. I just took them with me on my trip to 30A and wore them almost everyday.

My most recent espadrille purchase from Nordstrom was this pair of white espadrille wedges. I wasn’t 100% sure how I felt about them until I wore them with this cute travel outfit a few weeks ago. I know for a fact this type of espadrille is definitely on trend for summer. It’s all about the chunky platform!
