I’m so excited to share another Girls Night series with some of my favorite blogger gals! Since I started blogging a few years ago, these ladies have become some of my closest friends. We never pass up an opportunity to get together, and last week we decided to show you our uniquely different styles by wearing rompers for different body types.

Rompers are such an easy summer style so we thought it would be a great idea to share why we love each romper for our own body type. So, let’s get started with why I chose this vibrant tropical print romper.

First of all, the print on this romper is so stylish for summer. I wish I had a vacation coming up because it would be perfect for a tropical getaway! Anyway…I talked about my body type and why I love rompers last week, but if you missed that post I love rompers because they really work well with my short torso. Also, I chose this romper because of the halter tie. I feel like it draws attention up my body so I look a bit taller.

Now let me introduce you to my amazing Dallas blogger friends!!

AMANDA MILLER, THE MILLER AFFECT

Girls Night Romper Guide

Amanda is my favorite tall blogger babe. She is 5’11 (hello model), so it’s hard for her to find a romper that is long enough for her crazy long legs. When she is looking for a cute romper she tends to look for some that have either a small ruffle or some kind lace or crochet detailing on the bottom. The ruffle on her romper give the illusion that it looks longer even though it’s not. Plus, she doesn’t want that booties showing (eeek)!

SAGE CORALLI, SO SAGE BLOG

Girls Night Romper Guide

Sage is one of my long time blogger friends. I’ve traveled with her to NYFW a few times, and I’d kill for her super cute and fit body. She likes rompers that are a blank canvas allowing her to add accessories like wedges or sneakers for a more sporty look. She and I are very similar when it comes to color palettes. Basically, we would always choose black when it comes down to it.

She chose this particular v-neck black romper because she always likes to draw attention to her upper body, not her lower body. She also loved the belt option which she can use to accentuate her hips, and make your waist look smaller.

CHRISTINA BEAUCHAMP, FASHION & FRILLS

Girls Night Romper Guide

Christina is like a little ray of sunshine. She always makes you smile, and gives us a good laugh with some of her comments. I kinda think she has an inner blonde side which is why we get along 😉

Christina chose this romper for the fit, but more importantly the way it makes her feel. Just another reason I love her…if you aren’t comfortable in what you’re wearing then forget it. My rule #1! For her, the off-the-shoulder neckline is flattering for her body type. We both agree it’s universally flattering on most women, and you’ll find plenty of off-the-shoulder outfits on both of our blogs!

NATALIE KEINAN, THE FASHION HOUR

Girls Night Romper Guide

Natalie is my foodie blogger friend. We always end up getting invited to fun foodie events around Dallas, and neither one of us would pass up a delicious dinner party. Also, why I think we get along so great!

She chose a romper that fits her “curvy” body type (her words, promise!). Therefore, rompers that aren’t tight on her legs or bootie tend to be her favorite. Natalie picked this romper because of the lose fit in the shorts, and the elastic waistband. It can really help accentuate your curves, but make you look smaller.

Also, the v-neck draws your attention upwards which distracts from her bottom half.

LYNLEE POSTON, GAL ABOUT TOWN

Girls Night Romper Guide

Lynlee says her body type would be categorized as “athletic”. She has broad shoulders like I do so when looking for rompers she likes ones with some type of sleeve to cover her arms. The flutter sleeves on this pretty blue romper gives it a more feminine look.

While I have a short torso, Lynlee is quite the opposite. She has a long torso, but also likes rompers that have a cinched or drop waist like me. The extra fabric adds length for her while it allows me to shrink up the waist area to appear shorter.
