NYFW OUTFIT INSPIRATION

I’m bummed I can’t attend NYFW this time around, but that doesn’t mean I can’t dress like I’m there! This NYFW outfit inspiration comes from my last trip to NYFW when I wore this black fringe skirt. I absolutely love this skirt, but you kind of need a special occasion to wear it…or not?! Sometimes it’s just fun to get a little dressed up even if you’re only going out to dinner for a special date night. Valentine’s Day is this weekend… 🙂

Since I’m not actually at NYFW, I wanted to keep this look slightly more casual by wearing an oversized sweater instead of a fancy top. I’ve been wearing this oversized sweater quite a bit lately, and it was perfect with this skirt. Regardless if you’re dressing for NYFW or a special occasion my rule of thumb is choose one statement piece to build your outfit around. Obviously this fringe skirt was the statement piece for my NYFW outfit inspiration because it’s so fun! P.S. You don’t have to spend a fortune to look fabulous…this skirt is under $60!
