I was so excited to attend the Nicole by Nicole Miller event last week at JC Penney. One of the first dresses I wore to a high school dance was a Nicole Miller dress, and I’ve loved her collections ever since. Having the opportunity to see her in person and listen to her talk about her newest collection, Nicole by Nicole Miller for JC Penney, was amazing. Adam Moon, JC Penney Fashion Director, interviewed Nicole about her new holiday collection and other fall/winter trends for this season. Before the show I had the opportunity to chat with Adam about some of the fall/winter trends we will be seeing. It looks like black and gold will be huge for the holidays (love this!) along with rose gold. Lucky me I just picked up these amazing new Kendra Scott earrings which look great with my Nicole by Nicole Miller sweater. The earring and studded detail on the shoulders of this sweater give the outfit the perfect holiday sparkle.

Great post. Nice little window in to what took place at the event. I have to thank you for this update. I didn’t know Nicole was carrying her line in JC Penny’s. That seems crazy to me but also smart & lucrative. All of the higher end designers are doing the low end chains. As for some of the other designers, I’ve read that it’s paying off. I’ve never shopped at a JC Penny but maybe tonight I’ll go online and look them up. Thanks for sharing.
