It’s time to get real personal with y’all… I’ve always been super insecure about my armpits smelling. Yep that’s right. I don’t sweat a lot, but omg I feel like my body odor is so bad. I’m always so self conscious about it and apply deodorant like 3-4 times a day especially now that I’m working out so much. Not a joke. I’m constantly switching up my deodorant trying to find one that really gets the job done. I’ve heard people talk about natural deodorants a lot lately and tried a few myself. No luck until I tried Native Deodorant! It actually works!
So not only does it work, but it has ingredients in it that aren’t things you can’t pronounce. Take a look at their website and you’ll see the comparison chart between other brands. It’s also made in the United States, which as a business owner myself I fully support.
I feel like I’m always on-the-go from a workout these days so I basically live out of my gym bag. Since I am working out so much on my “body reset” journey I need a deodorant that really works during any activity. I always feel like my armpits smell instantly after a workout so I put Native to the test during my spin class earlier this week… Pretty impressive.
I wanted to try the unscented deodorant first to really test it out. Sometimes the scented deodorants can be deceiving, and I don’t like my clothes smelling like deodorant too. The ultimate test for Native Deodorant was during my photo shoot this week in the 90 degree temps. I’ll let you imagine what it’s like taking photos in the hot and humid temps while wearing sweaters… Uh huh.
So what was the outcome? It worked. Like really worked! I’m excited to see how long it keeps working but I’m for sure sold on Native Deodorant. I’m so happy too that I bought the travel size to keep in my gym bag or for traveling!
P.S. Here is a little trick to make your deodorant last longer!! Cut a lemon in half and rub it on your armpits (don’t shave beforehand!). I do this a couple of times a week and my deodorant stays on so much better over the next 3-4 days.

I too have an “armpit stank”. I thought my hormones were out of whack after menopause. I rad that odor is caused by bacteria and vinegar would kill the bacteria and smell associated with the odor. Only drawback was I now smelled like a salad.
I tried Native Deodorant because it contained no aluminum and the reviews were pretty good. It worked great until the New Jersey summer weather rolled in (around May). I had an itchy, burning rash under my armpits. I was told it was a fungus. Some prescribed cream took care of that but it could have been avoided with an anti-perspirant.
Native is a deodorant not an ANTIPERSPIRANT. Did you have any side effects from perspiring like I did? Is that what the lemon is for?
