BLACK LEATHER MIDI SKIRT // CHIC AT EVERY AGE

Okay y’all…it’s time for another Chic at Every Age outfit inspiration post, and this time we are talking leather. Well, this pleated midi skirt is actually faux leather but it totally looks real. I can promise you’re going to be seeing lot of leather this fall. Cathy picked out this skirt for us to style which is funny because I almost bought it for one of my own outfit posts. When I was trying to decide what to wear with this faux leather pleated midi skirt I wanted to go for the sophisticated/casual/edgy look. Not sure how I came to that conclusion for this outfit, but with this burgundy plaid shirt and choker it worked! FYI…this skirt runs really big so I’d suggest getting a size down.

You can see this skirt really works for any age. You could wear it with a velvet top like Heather did, which I think would be adorable for any upcoming holiday parties. Also, when can you ever go wrong with stripes or leopard? I love how Sam thought to pair the stripes with the pleats to work with the horizontal and vertical lines. Lastly, Cathy’s leopard cardigan is so cute with her casual graphic tee. Which style do you all like the best? Or would you mix it all up with this leather pleated midi skirt?!
