HOUSE TOUR WITH RELIANT ENERGY

Welcome! I’m so excited to give you all a little tour of my house! I moved in almost a year ago, and can’t believe time has gone by that fast. I’m still so in love with my house, but today I’m highlighting some of my favorite spaces. The #1 thing that sold me on my townhouse is the amazing white kitchen! I spend a LOT of time in the kitchen cooking so I wanted it to be my dream kitchen. Luckily I had an amazing builder who read my mind before even meeting me!

Also, I obviously spend a lot of time in my bedroom. Since I am a style blogger it’s almost like my second office. The #2 thing that sold me on my house was actually the bathroom in my master bedroom. It’s also all white if you could guess 😉

Being a first time homeowner there are lots of things to think about…

One of the first things to think about when living in a townhouse instead of an apartment is electricity. Bigger place equals a bigger electric bill. Also, I have a lot of natural light in my house so it tends to heat up quicker.

I work from home so I use a lot of electricity so keeping my electric bill low is important. Also, I’m one of those people who sleeps with the AC cranked way down, my ceiling fan on, and a tower fan going at night. Anyone else like me?! So needless to say that’s quite a bit of electric usage each week.

That’s why I did my research and made the switch to Reliant Energy. They have several great plans, but the best is their First Month Free Plan. Moving is expensive so saving on the first month of electricity is awesome. Everyone loves a good deal and saving money, right?
