The summer travel season is upon us! I’m so excited for this summer because I’m going to be traveling almost every week. My adventures actually already started last month in Carmel and before that in Punta Mita. This weekend I’m home for a quick getaway to watch my cousins graduate from law school. I knew this navy leopard jumpsuit from Banana Republic would be super easy to pack last minute and wear for the graduation ceremony. Since I’m only in town for less than 48 hours I didn’t bring a big bag. Less is more on short weekend getaways, and a jumpsuit is a perfect fit.
I didn’t realize there was a cold front coming through Oklahoma while I was in town so thank goodness I had a denim jacket with me. I always like wearing a denim jacket in the spring and summer instead of something too heavy. This white denim jacket goes with me everywhere lately.

Next week I’m heading off for a fun cruise to the Bahamas! Any airport travel day is always a pants and comfy top day. Especially with easy slip on shoes. Also, I usually get cold on the plane so this sleeveless sweater is a good option. I’ll be bringing that denim jacket too!
A few other essentials I take with me on summer vacations are a straw hat and cute handbag. I struggle with melasma so I absolutely have to wear a hat on beach vacations! This straw hat from Banana Republic is my favorite because it has a drawstring on the inside to tighten it which means it won’t blow away on the beach.
