FLORAL PRINTS AT WORK

FLORAL PRINTS AT WORK

If there has ever been a week where I needed it to be over ASAP it’s this week… It’s been a pretty crappy week, but I’m happy it’s Friday and I have a weekend girls trip to keep things off my mind. I took a mental health week (yes, week) because I just couldn’t focus on anything related to work. My emails were piling up so fast which was making my anxiety go through the roof. Luckily, my week was brightened up a little by my amazing blogger friends (aka “coworkers”) with a breakup basket. It was SO cute and just what I needed.

I also bought some fresh new flowers because they always brighten things up. Speaking of flowers… I think florals are always the easiest way to transition your wardrobe into spring in my opinion. Don’t you agree?! But how do you wear floral prints at work without overdoing it?

If you’re in the corporate world you for sure want to be professional, but that doesn’t mean you have to be boring. A floral print doesn’t have to be over the top. You all know I am not one to wear a lot of prints and patterns which is why I choose this subtle floral top from Ann Taylor to wear with these wide leg white pants.

Yes, a simple floral top is an easy way to transition your work wardrobe into spring but who said florals just had to be on clothes? These lace up flower sandals will for sure point you in the direction of spring. They come in a gorgeous lilac color too, but clearly I’ll stick with the nude because I can wear it with anything.

Anytime you’re looking to take your work wardrobe to the next level or just add a few new classic pieces I always turn to Ann Taylor first!
