Oh hey fri-yay!! Today is the first official day that EVERYONE gets to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I’ve been shopping all week since I’ve had to take it easy after my sinus surgery… What else can you do besides online shop and watch tv? I probably should’ve done some real work, but that didn’t sound like fun. My doctor told me not to make any big decisions within 48 hours after my surgery anyway…
However, I did make some purchase decisions from the Nordstrom Sale which I think were all great decisions. Like this floral duster coat and suede moto jacket…aren’t they gorgeous?! FYI…I have an obsession with jackets. Did you see last weeks “#NSale Top Picks” post where I bought another amazing leather moto jacket?!

Do I need another moto jacket? No… Do I want this gorgeous suede moto jacket? Yes… This jacket is a bit more pricey than the other army green moto jacket I bought last week, but I couldn’t resist. The pretty pastel pink/purple color gives this jacket a feminine touch. It’s kind of bold for my style, but when we were taking these photos I had about 4 people tell me how much they loved the jacket.
I decided to wear all black with this moto jacket so it would really stand out.
I’m a big fan of all black, and these black ripped skinny jeans (mine are old, but linked similar ones under $40!) give the outfit a bit of an edge. However, the black suede mules and classic Tory Burch handbag make this outfit the perfect “simple, sophisticated, and chic” look.
I can’t say I’ve been one who is drawn to duster coats, but this pretty floral duster coat caught my attention.
I like that the print isn’t too bright and overwhelming, but has a soft neutral feel to it. This is a coat you could totally wear right now even though it’s crazy hot outside. It’s lightweight and extremely airy. It would look great with a classic white dress which you could wear to work. Or…once the temps start to cool down you could wear it with cute raw hem skinny jeans and a simple camisole like I’ve done here.
I can’t say this will be the last time you see me feature a jacket from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Since this is the absolute BEST sale of the entire year I’m not holding back. There are way too many goodies in this sale that you won’t see marked down this much again… That’s why this sale is the bomb!!
The sale ends on August 6th so you’ll have plenty of time to shop the sale, but I promise you don’t want to wait too long because a lot of these amazing items will sell out fast. I’d love to know what you all like most about the sale?!
