It’s that time of year when all the new fall clothing has arrived in stores…big chunky sweaters, suede boots/booties, and gorgeous shades of fall colors. BUT, how do you transition these fall favorites into your summer wardrobe when it’s still 100 degrees outside (well here in Dallas anyway)?! Start small. You may have fall fever, but pick out a few items like the patterned sleeveless blouse I have on that can easily be worn now with black shorts or in a few short months when you can throw a leather jacket over it. Accessories are also key. The dark gray snakeskin bag I found could also be carried at night with a simple summer maxi dress or carry it as your work bag this fall.
The one perk about fall arriving in the middle of summer is the amazing SALES stores are having right now! The white sleeveless blazer I have on above was on sale at Banana Republic for $16. Not joking. It’s one of those clothing items I have already worn several times this summer, and I can easily pair it with jeans or leggings once the weather starts to cool off.
