hair salons dallas

I get asked quite a bit where I get my hair done here in Dallas. So….I thought I would share a few of my favorite Dallas hair salons with you today! Also, I’m sharing what products I currently use to style my hair each day.

Frederic Fekkai: I’ve always been a fan of Frederic Fekkai products, and I’ve done a lot with them for NYFW so when I went in a few months ago for a highlight I knew they would do a fabulous job. I’ve always done the typical foil highlights, but at Frederic Fekkai they only use the balayage technique. I’d heard a lot about this technique, but was a little nervous when she literally started painting the color on my hair! The balayage technique is meant to look more natural as your hair grows out and you aren’t having to color your hair as often. My hair grows super fast so I wasn’t convinced, but it’s been almost three months and I can hardly tell the highlights have grown out! I won’t be doing anything else but balayage from now on.

Artists + Architects: This is a fairly new salon, and when I went in for a blow out I came out with a brand new cut which I’m loving. I was chatting with Derek Sansone, the owner, about my current hair cut and after about 5 min we decided to cut a few inches off for a new look! He definitely knows hair because I’ve gotten a ton of comments on my new hair cut.

Hair Revival Studio: I’ve been to Hair Revival a few times now, and they really do a great job overall. I usually go to Blake, the owner, but I’ve sent almost all my friends to a lot of people at the salon. They also introduced me to Davines products which is what I use for my shampoo, and volumizer. Can’t say enough good things about this salon!
