CASUAL WORKOUT WEAR
So lately I’ve been living in my workout wear… Last week I told y’all I’ve been working out five days a week so it’s just easier to throw on athletic wear each morning. However, if I’m out running errands or like last night running to church after my workout class at InCinR8 (this place is ah-mazing!) then I try to transition my workout wear into a cute and casual outfit.
A cute pair of black yoga pants like these from Fabletics are the basis of my outfit. Now most leggings are super cute with mesh detail or some even look like shinny black tights. So you’ve got a base now let’s think layers… You’ve probably got a workout top on so layer a cute long sleeve shirt like this black stripe shirt (seriously my favorite!) over it, and then add some sort of coat or jacket. You could do something like my grey open front coat (or cardigan), but if I was running to grab drinks with friends I’d go for a black leather jacket. Last, any type of oversized scarf makes a winter outfit come together. There you have it…cute, casual and comfortable!

Love this…very chic! The only thing I hate is layering back up post-workout…but I guess that means it was a great workout, right? 🙂

I want to be one of those people that wear workout clothes on a normal basis. I think it looks super chic. But it’s so weird to do it in NYC. It’s something I want to try incorporating, since I hate carrying a change of clothes to the gym.
