Last Friday, I went down to Houston to meet fellow Oklahoma girl Carrie Underwood! If you were following my stories, then you might have seen my adventure where I partner with CALIA by Carrie Underwood for the opening of Dicks Sporting Goods. After we met Carrie, we had the opportunity to do a quick 20 minute workout with her tour trainer. Okay y’all…I workout on a regular basis, but OMG this was the hardest (and best) workout I’ve had in a long time! Her trainer does a lot of HIIT workouts with Carrie which happens to be what I do too! What is HIIT? It’s high intensity interval training which gets your hear rate up quick, and keeps burning calories throughout the day.
Now let’s talk about her athletic wear…it’s amazing. One of my past clients was an athletic wear company so I feel like I’m pretty knowledgable about workout clothes now. The best thing about CALIA is the quality…hands down. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried on these black leggings. They use a moisture-wicking technology which is amazing after a hard sweaty workout like we had in Houston. Plus, they use an anti-odor technology that keeps you nice and fresh if you need to go run errands after a hard workout. I’m in workout clothes several days a week so these are huge benefits if you ask me!!
Another reason I am now obsessed with CALIA by Carrie Underwood is because the pieces are so versatile. I wore this cute hoodie in the car ride down to Houston with boyfriend jeans and my white Converse shoes. Super cozy. She has a lot of pieces in her line like this ribbed hoodie and scarf which create a super cute athleisure look!
There are so many great things about CALIA by Carrie Underwood, but the thing I love most about her company is the effort to help young women. She partnered with DICK’s Sporting Goods Foundation to donate $500,000 in Sports Matter grants for girls sports across the country. How incredible?! I might be a little biased, but Oklahoma girls are the best!
