LNDR™ Eight Eight Leggings

Happy Workout Wednesday!

Although I’ve had to take this week off from my workouts because of a pretty bad shoulder injury… I haven’t been listening to my body, but eventually it won the debate. I’ve been so into my workout schedule over the last 6 months, so I felt gross taking time off even though my shoulder was hurting pretty bad. I guess that’s the one thing I’ve learned with the “body reset“… Listen to your body and it’s okay to take breaks!

For those of you who don’t know about the “body reset” you can read allllll about it here! But, in a quick snippet it was basically a 6-week program consisting of clean eating + weight training workouts + supplements. I decided to do it because I was feeling bloated every single day. It totally changed things for the better! And now I basically live in workout clothes 🙂

BODY RESET // 6 MONTH UPDATE

Now let’s fast forward 6 months… After implementing the clean eating diet into my routine even off the “body reset” I haven’t gained any weight back. Yay!!!! I’ve actually lost a total of 6% body fat and 8 lbs!! That’s hard for a woman!!!!!!!

Believe me, I wasn’t eating clean the entire time over the last 6 months. I have been traveling and indulging all of my desires a LOT. But… I do notice when I start eating CRAP again my tummy does NOT feel good after a while. It’s mostly when I eat too many carbs or dairy :/ Over the last 2-weeks, I have been completely off the bandwagon because of my trip to Montana and my birthday weekend. Guess what? I’m bloating and feel yucky again…ugh. Also, I haven’t been consistent with taking my supplements so there is no one to blame but me. I can’t express how important it is to take your supplements (especially off the body reset diet!).

However, I’ve never felt and looked better in my life after doing the “Body Reset”! Now that I’ve lost all the weight and body fat I absolutely do NOT want to go back to square one. I know that’s going to be super super super hard during the holidays too. I’ve already caught myself buying everything known to man that’s “pumpkin spice” and indulging a little too much in treating myself. Literally today I got a salad because I was trying to stick to my “body reset” diet this week, but then I somehow wound up with a cookie! Old habits die hard…

I know myself pretty well and know I’m going to struggle the most with my eating habits. I’ve got the workout habit down for sure! Now I just need to win the long term battle with myself and realize that my eating habits can’t go back to the old ways…EVER.

I’ve kind of been in the mindset lately that it’s fine eating crappy because I’ve been keeping up with my workouts. WRONG. I’m sure we all know it’s 80% diet and 20% workout. Sigh.

So stay tuned for a holiday meal post soon and another full 6-week “Body Reset” in January!!
