I really should have listened to my mother when I was younger when she constantly told me to put on sunscreen…but I was a brat and hated wearing a glob of zinc on my nose. I grew up always being outside whether it was swim team, lake trips, or going to the beach I was always in the sun. I’m still in the sun quite a bit these days, but I finally took my mothers advice. No matter what I’m doing if I’m going to be in the sun I always wear sunscreen, especially on my face. Even in my 20s I’ve already noticed sun spots, discoloration in my skin tone, and acne scars becoming more noticeable from the sun.
