4 WAYS TO WEAR A LEOPARD DRESS AT WORK

I absolutely love sharing how to style items for work, but that has taken a back seat over the past two years because of the pandemic. I know many of you still aren’t in the office, but I’m hoping this gives you some inspiration for outfits not just for work! I actually started this workwear series a couple years ago after a conversation with my best friend about styling outfits for the office. She suggested I start showing one trendy workwear item and style it a few different ways. Mainly because she struggled with figuring out how to wear something like a leopard dress more than by itself.

4 WAYS TO WEAR A LEOPARD DRESS AT WORK

Today I’m showing 4 ways to wear a leopard dress at work! Let’s be real animal print isn’t going out of style anytime soon so I’m excited to see which outfit you all like best.

LEOPARD DRESSES

The easiest way to wear a leopard dress is clearly by itself. BUT… Try to branch out and add a pop of color somehow instead of sticking with basic black accessories. I forgot I had these burgundy peep toe booties, and I absolutely love them. They are the perfect compliment to this dress. I think a bright red can be a little too much when you’re wearing leopard already so burgundy is my favorite color to pair with animal print. If a colored shoe may be too much for the office then why not just wear a berry lip?!

POP OF COLOR

We all own a black blazer or sweater I’m sure, right? So the second way to style a leopard dress would be to add a sweater over the dress. This makes it look like an entirely new outfit! Just make sure to find a sweater that is either cropped or a bit shorter so it doesn’t look to oversized. If you don’t have a cropped sweater, you could wear a belt over the sweater to give shape to the outfit.

CLASSIC BLACK

This is probably the easiest way to style any dress because a blazer is always work appropriate. Right now you could go with a classic black blazer, and then once it starts to warm up switch to a white blazer like I did for this outfit. I added a belt with this dress to give the outfit a more structure and look more business professional.

If I’m wearing a black blazer I’d probably stick with black heels. However, with the white blazer I love these camel ankle strap sandals because it pulls that tan from the dress and gives it more of a spring feel.

SIMPLE BLAZER

If you’re lucky enough to have “Casual Friday” at the office then this is the perfect way to wear your leopard dress one more way! A denim jacket and sneakers make this outfit one of my favorite looks. I liked the lighter denim jacket with this particular leopard dress because it has more white undertones and is an easy way to transition into spring.
